Perform month-end closing, and prepare monthly schedules and reports, with timely submission
Ensure that transactions are properly accounted for in accordance with the relevant statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal Group/Company policies.
Preparation of monthly management reports for Business Heads/GM.
Coordination, preparation and submission of periodic forecasts, annual budget and 5-year plan.
Perform financial analysis on past and forecast data to understand root cause of major fluctuations and provide relevant variance explanations.
Analyse data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labour, and overhead. Work with manufacturing/operations department on development and analysis of standard costs.
Cash flow monitoring and forecast preparation.
Preparation of entity\'s financial statements, annual tax computation and schedules.
Liaise with external/internal auditors and tax agents.
Preparation of government grant claims and GST filing
Ensure internal compliance procedures and processes are adhered to
Any other ad-hoc duties from Senior Finance Manager
The suitable candidate should possess the following:
Bachelor\'s degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications.
Chartered Accountant/ CPA will be an advantage.
At least 4 years in Financial Accounting and Business Controlling role, preferably with experience in FP&A.
Relevant experience in manufacturing industries preferred.
Proficient in SAP and Hyperion, experience with SAP implementation will be an advantage
Sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements.
Good interpersonal skills - able to engage with co-workers from various departments/levels.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Able to work independently and under tight timelines.
