MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manpower Planning & Statistics

1. Conduct manpower projection and preparation of manpower statistics, for analysis purposes.

2. Track, review and evaluate attrition trends.

Recruitment & Retention

1. Liaise with hiring managers on staff recruitment and assist with reviewing their manpower requirements.

2. Source suitable candidates using the various recruitment channels and continuously explore innovative and alternative avenues to attract the right candidate for the job.

3. Conduct interviews for the selection of candidates with the aim of getting the right fit for the job.

4. Prepare salary proposals and make salary offer taking into consideration the candidate\'s educational background, experience, market competitiveness, and internal staff equity.

5. Conduct a new staff briefing program, including briefing staff on the employment terms and benefits entitlement.

6. Ensure timely processing of staff confirmation, working pass/contract expiry and/or renewals, retirement, and other cessations.

7. Conduct exit interviews, highlight staff issues, and recommend solutions for staff retention.

Performance Management

1. Provide advice to line managers on the management of staff performance issues.

2. Track the career progression of staff.

Compensation & Benefits

1. Assist with coordination of annual promotion and salary adjustment exercise, including preparation of data for assessment of eligibility criteria and computation of salaries and promotion costs.

2. Assist with an annual review of staff salaries, including extraction and verification of data.

3. Compute bonus payments, special payments, and other relevant compensation items based on policy guidelines and staff\'s eligibility in accordance with their employment terms.

Employee Relations, Grievance Handling & Disciplinary Issues

1. Conduct staff counseling and grievance handling.

2. Assist with staff disciplinary issues and inquiries.

Deployment / Transfer of Staff

1. Coordinate transfer and deployment of staff and ensures that all documents are provided and HRIS system updated to affect the transfer.

Analytics & Insight

1. Conduct data analysis and statistical modeling to derive insights.

2. Prepare numeric or visual presentations of data to report analysis findings.

3. Interpret findings from data analysis and statistical modeling.

4. Develop technical and business reports with analytical findings.

HR Systems & Processes

1. Execute HR workflows and processes.

2. Gather feedback and inputs on the effectiveness of HR processes from lines of business.

3. Recommend and implement new workflows and improvements to processes and systems that support HR operations\' needs.

4. Train the HR operations team and line managers on changes in systems and processes.
