The opportunity:
Sephora Singapore is looking to hire a Senior Executive, Human Resources to drive organizational effectiveness, people development and performance management.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR & Education, as a hands-on Senior Executive. Be an influential partner, actioning day to day HR processes and recruitment whilst also working on strategic HR projects and striving for best practice.
You are an effective HR generalist with solid experience of HR practices and employee management. You enjoy working at an accelerated pace and is adept at juggling the short-term tasks and strategize mid to long term goals aligned with business. You are agile and flexible in your approach to solving problems, and you will be measuring your success through the success of others.
Responsibilities:
Administration

• Execute HR and administration system and procedure
• Handle all administration matters of the company such as office administrative, supply requisitions approval, document control, Work Pass application/ renewal/ termination, etc.
• Understand the impact of relevant employment related legislation
• Ensure all compliance activities and requirements are managed
• Perform all other reasonable duties as requested by the Company

Business Partnering

• Build collaborative and trusting relationships with business leaders, anticipating business needs and implement appropriate initiatives
• Provide guidance and advise managers and employees in basic HR related issues
• Support Department Heads to build organization and people capabilities, improving workforce profile to increase efficiencies for long-term business growth
• Support and facilitate talent movement across the business

Recruitment & Employee Experience

• Handle store recruitment
• Support employment brand initiatives
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual headcount report to HQ for tracking of employee turnover, absenteeism, diversity etc.
• Ensure of positive employee experience from onboarding to offboarding
• Support all HR activities are delivered efficiently and effective

Key competencies

• Tertiary Qualified in Human Resource Management or related discipline desirable
• At least 5 years' experience in a Human Resource operational role with business partnering skills
• Intermediate - MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of current employment legislation
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail, beauty and/or FMCG is highly desirable
• Able to work with tight deadline with positive service attitude and good organization skill
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
