We catalyse the ideas of today, into the assets of tomorrow.What you will be working on:Responsibilities The International Engagement Department (IED) supports IPOS\' vision by establishing relationships with IP stakeholders outside Singapore, including government agencies, institutions, inventors, creators, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and others to position Singapore as a vibrant marketplace for IP transactions and commercialisation. Reporting to the Desk Head, you will be responsible for the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying opportunities and developing platforms in priority markets to advance Singapore\'s interests; \xe2\x80\xa2 Building relations with overseas stakeholders to develop a pipeline of activities to promote Singapore\'s IP capabilities; \xe2\x80\xa2 Developing and maintaining cooperation agreements and/or programmes with international partners; \xe2\x80\xa2 Tracking IP developments in assigned countries and regions, carrying out research, drafting country briefs and strategy papers for senior management; \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning and organising activities to implement department\'s engagement strategies in overseas markets; \xe2\x80\xa2 Representing Singapore in regional and multilateral IP fora; \xe2\x80\xa2 Executing good project management and timely and accurate reporting (e.g. department workplan and budget planning); and \xe2\x80\xa2 Other ad-hoc duties assigned to you.What we are looking for:Please write to us if you have/are: \xe2\x80\xa2 Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; \xe2\x80\xa2 A keen interest in international affairs and innovation; \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent networking and stakeholder engagement skills; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationships; \xe2\x80\xa2 Good in writing and able to communicate effectively; \xe2\x80\xa2 Adept at prioritising tasks; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of a foreign language and/or proficiency in Chinese would be an added advantage.About Intellectual Property Office of Singapore:The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) is the national authority that registers and is responsible for the administration of IP rights in Singapore.
