What the role is:
You will be part of the SGLaw200 Secretariat, supporting the Ministry's efforts to commemorate the Bicentennial Anniversary of Singapore's modern legal and judicial system in 2026. This milestone marks 200 years since the establishment of our legal foundations and offers a unique opportunity to reflect on how our legal system has served Singaporeans and contributed to Singapore's progress. You will work closely with the Legal Policy Group, and assist in organising and implementing a series of commemorative events and collaterals for the Bicentennial Anniversary.
What you will be working on:
Your key responsibilities are centered on providing planning and coordination support for the SGLaw200 Youth Forum in 2026 and a Bicentennial publication, among other broader Bicentennial events: (a) Support the planning and execution of the SGLaw200 Youth Forum, including working closely with stakeholders on programme design, flow, logistics and on-site operations. This includes coordination with external partners and internal MinLaw divisions. (b) Plan and coordinate communications and publicity efforts for the SGLaw200 Youth Forum, including youth outreach to attract participation and post-event publicity to amplify key messages to a wider audience. (c) Ensure coherence and alignment across events in the Bicentennial calendar. (d) Provide support for a Bicentennial publication, including liaison with stakeholders on content development and design. (e) Provide administrative and operational support, including assistance with formal procurement processes, and coordination with stakeholders.

*Key Competencies* o [Project Execution]: Plan and execute projects in an effective and efficient manner. o [Project Timeline Management]: Manage project timeline to achieve project objectives and deliverables. o [Internal Stakeholder Alignment]: Drive alignment on policy positions and approaches among key internal stakeholders. o [Co-create and Co-deliver with External Stakeholders]: Mobilise stakeholders to co-create and co-deliver solutions. *Work Experience / Technical Skills / Personal Traits* o Some knowledge of law and/or governance is advantageous but not mandatory. o Prior experience in event organisation and planning is advantageous but not mandatory. o Excellent organisational and interpersonal communication skills, both written and spoken. o Able to work independently and as part of a team. o Strong stakeholder management skills. o Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-moving environment. o Creative thinker with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and event planning. Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract in the first instance. #LI-SW1
