Job Role

Provide non-emergency transportation of patients and caregivers to and from specified locations in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Support and fulfill the Foundations requirement on Traffic dispatch service, manpower assistance, and other work assignments.

Main Responsibilities

Non-Emergency Patient Transportation

• Transport patients and caregivers to and from Dialysis Centres and their residences in a safe, timely and professional manner.
• Provide the assistance required to safely board/alight patients and caregivers.
• Administer safety procedures for passengers before and during transportation (e.g. fastening of seat belts, ensure wheelchairs are properly secured before starting van).
• May pick up several patients from a common destination depending on route.
• Checks the van to ensure that no personal items are left behind.
• Complete basic administrative tasks related to trips/vehicle.
• Checking of vehicles major functions before using, carry out proper cleaning after every trip and maintain general cleanliness of vehicle

Logistics Transportation

• Assist to operate goods vehicles/Education Bus, fulfil the daily and ad-hoc dispatch/manpower assignments by Traffic Coordinator.
• Support monthly and adhoc delivery of medical items to DC, goods delivery from HQ to DC and inter DC transfer of equipment and goods whenever necessary
• Completion of Traffic Requests, Vehicle Log Books and any other documents.
• Daily checking of vehicles major functions and inform Traffic Coordinator on any vehicles damage/malfunction. Prepare incident report on all major incidents.
• Assist in shifting of goods and setting up of furniture/equipment for event as requested.
• Support logistics and other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualification (Related Field)

• Minimally Secondary School education (GCE N Level)
• Valid Class 3 or 3A Qualified Driving License. Class 4 driving license will be an added advantage
• Possess Standard First Aid with CPR + AED certification and Bus Driver Vocational License (BDVL) would be preferred

Experience

• Good driving records with no demerit point received from LTA/Traffic Police for the past 3 years
• Preferably 2 years working experience in driving mini bus/passenger van
• Familiar with Singapores roads and condition

Soft Skills

• Able to speak and write English
• Ability to converse in a second language with non-English-speaking patients
• Pleasant personality with passion for serving the elderly/disabled community
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
