Job Description

Pro Bono SG , a registered Charity with Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status was established to provide the needy and vulnerable with access to justice as part of the Law Society\xe2\x80\x99s mission.

We are looking for candidate to support the finance function and operations of PBSG. The duties include but not limited to the following:

• Month end closing, taking care of accounts receivables / Grants recognition

• Monitoring and submission of claims to grantors and donors

• Prepare reports to Management, Audit Committee, Finance Committee, and LSS Finance Committee

• Liaising and preparation of schedules for external audit

• Support PBSG functions in terms of reporting to external agencies, such as Grant givers, donors etc.

• Support reporting to external regulatory agencies, and donors etc. such as IRAS for tax exemption receipts.

• Support treasury functions, placements of investments, liaising with financial institutions.

• Help to review and update relevant financial regulations and internal protocols for compliance and efficiency.

• To perform such duties as may be designated by the Head of Department from time to time.
  

Requirements:

• At least 3 years relevant experience in Finance, Audit and Accounting

• Experience in Xero Accounting system and in NPO is preferred

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting or higher

• Chartered Accountant preferred

• Meticulous and organized

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Proficient in Microsoft office including Teams
