What the role is:The ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute is a leading research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic development. Applications are invited for:Executive / Senior Executive, Facilities ManagementWhat you will be working on:ResponsibilitiesResponsible for day-to-day site operations and administrationEnsure compliance with safety and statutory requirements for the buildingsOversee the soft and hard FM contractors/vendorsAttendance to fault reports, inspection of buildings, procurement, supervision and certification of worksObtaining of quotations, cost estimations, schedules and recommendations of contractors/vendorsHandle purchase orders, documentation, and asset managementFollowing up on the preventive and corrective maintenance programSupport in Event Management, Addition & Alteration (A&A), Repair & Redecoration (R&R) and other projectsCommunicate and coordinate with internal stakeholdersAny other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, or HOD.What we are looking for:RequirementsMinimum NITEC in M&E Engineering or Building Services related fields with at least 5 years of experience in Facilities Management related services (or)Fresh Diploma holder in Facilities Management, Property Management, or Building Services related fieldsPossess good Building Management skills with good knowledge in M&E systemsGood verbal and able to communicate with various stakeholdersPossession of the following relevant certifications would be an added advantageFire safetyWorkplace safety & healthProject managementGreen MarkRemuneration and benefits depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.Applicants will be notified if they are shortlisted within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.(Only short-listed candidates will be notified)About ISEAS -Yusof Ishak Institute:The ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute is a regional research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environment.
