Job Description

:

The incumbent is expected to lead the project planning for the setup of the Central Processing Unit (CPU) for Fresh Food. He / she will subsequently transition into supporting the newly-created CPU organization, focusing on Process Improvement and other small and medium projects, coordination with Up- and Down-stream processes and teams.

The work will lead to measurable bottom-line improvements and unlocking opportunities to drive top-line.

It is expected that the applicant will obtain lean certifications and other related qualification/trainings as part of the job.

The incumbent is required to proactively and independently execute the Project Cadence, ensure stakeholders are kept updated, know what they are expected to do or the choices they have to make to move forward and meet the project goals.

Subsequently it will need personal drive to lead or co-lead various continuous improvement efforts for the operation.

Qualifications:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree or equivalent in preferably: Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry and or other relevant field with industry experience

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in the Food Manufacturing space or similar space or
• Ambitious and Hands-on
• Understanding of Food processing
• He/She must have displayed to drive tangible results in collaboration with multifunctional stakeholders
• Experience in the retail sector will be an added advantage
