Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, reviewing and enhancing the Risk Management and Governance process including the adequacy and effectiveness of controls across SG Mint
Perform regular compliance reviews in line with the current Risk Policy and Bullion Risk Assurance Program
Reporting quarterly risk outcomes (risk assessment, compliance reviews, controls adequacy, risk indicators & action plans) to SG Mint Head, and Head, Risk (Gas LOB)
Monitor compliance with license requirements including PSMP Act (Precious Stones and Precious Metals & Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) for precious metals
Responsible for risk assessment submission to Ministry of Law (Minlaw)
Perform risk assessment for new projects / tenders
Review and assess insurance coverage and ensure cost effective coverage
Oversee Business Continuity and Incident Management activities for all SG Mint activities
Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualified in Business, Finance or Accounting. At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in risk management and compliance activities.
Hands-on experience and knowledge of Compliance or, Audit or Risk Management including.
Advising stakeholders on key risks and mitigation strategy associated with commercial arrangements
Guiding management on risk remediation related to address control deficiencies and/or process gaps
Placement of insurance coverage
Conducting Business continuity exercises
Able to demonstrate
Promoting a risk mindset
Building Trust and Collaborating positively with stakeholders
Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Communicating with impact and challenging with positive intent
