Job Description

The primary responsibility for this role is to:

Manage new and timely renewals of maintenance contract for technical sites, which includes:

o Negotiating with building owner, LOI, Agreement, and all other related administration matters.

o Conducting regular meetings with respective business units

o Monitoring current industry rental rate

o Liasing with relevant authorities to ensure the leases comply with authorities' requirements, if any

o Liasing with internal business units such as Legal, Finance, Business units, etc for any changes of lease terms, rental and services fees, property tax, etc

o Liaising with external tenants on StarHub own premises, including generation of billing invoices to tenants

o Ensuring timely handover/ takeover of premises to/from building owner

To assist in day-to-day operation and maintenance of all the various facilities systems in StarHub Data Centres and Offices, which shall involve systems such as Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), DC Rectifier System, Static Transfer Switch (STS), Fire Protection System, Building Management System, HT/LT electrical system, all ACMV systems, etc. To ensure the routine maintenance of the facilities systems being carried out according to planned schedule and contracted scope of work. To plan, call and evaluate of tender, project managed any expansion projects to cater for users' requirements. To ensure a strict security system being enforced with the StarHub Data Centre and Office by managing the physical security as well as the security system such as the card access system, CCTV surveillance systems, Visitors Tracking system, etc. To execute customer related work orders within the customer's requested Ready for Service (RFS) Date Maintain records and update all M&E, building & schematic drawings of the facilities and security in the building Conduct regular checks of the premises for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiates corrective measures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, in compliance to prevailing legislative and regulatory requirements Implement new technologies and processes to improve the efficiency in the Data Centre. Review the safe work responsibilities and ensure strict adherence to the safety requirements, procedures, laws and regulations To be on 24 x 7 standby for fault & maintenance activation. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned.
