Healthier SGMission : Coordinate and implement Healthier SG programmes, working closely with MOH divisions,Clusters, PCN/GPs, WOG and community partners.

Primarycare plays an important role as the foundation of our healthcare system in supporting population health outcomes from cradle to grave. It enables good quality, comprehensive, affordable and continued care for Singaporeans near their homes.

To improve population health outcomes, MOH will be embarking on a major initiative, Healthier SG, to transform and elevate the importance of primary care and our family physicians. We will be taking firm steps to organise and resource our healthcare clusters to work with and support family physicians to keep our population healthy. We will also roll out a National Healthier SG enrolment programme, where the population will be encouraged to choose a family physician of their choice, as their first line of care.

The Healthier SG Implementation (HSI) main workgroup is set up to co-create the implementation of Healthier SG. The HSI main workgroup will work closely with GP leaders, members of professional bodies and cluster representatives to co-create the Healthier SG enrolment programme for the baseline launch targeted around June 2023. Supporting the HSI main workgroup will be 4 sub-workgroups, including (i) CareProtocols – Preventive/Chronic; (ii) Subsidised drugs; (iii) Primary Care IT; and (iv) Role of PCNs. Each sub-workgroup will deep dive into the respective domain areas, and work towards recommending viable solutions for implementation.

For this position, this individual will be part of a joint secretariat team between MOH and MOHT to develop Care Protocols to guide participation of primary care practitioners inHealthier SG. It is a dynamic, fast-paced job that requires working closely with policy teams as well as General Practitioners who are leaders within their sector.

Duties:

  • Provide secretariat support for the Care Protocol Sub-WG, which includes organising meetings, curating materials to facilitate meeting discussions
  • Project management to ensure that project outcomes are delivered on time
  • Digest and consolidate multiple streams of inputs from different stakeholders and ensure coherent presentation to end user (i.e. GPs)
  • Facilitate meetings – writing NOMs, coordinate and track, follow-up and updates on presentation slides
  • Assist the team on Care Protocols updates, and consolidating updates on comments/feedbacks for the Care Protocols
  • To work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertakeany other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Healthcare-related subjects (eg.Public Health, Pharmacology, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Healthcare Administration)
  • Strong communication and project management skills in managing multiple stakeholders towards common purpose, with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience, and having been involved in facilitating asuccessful large-scale project end-to-end preferred
  • Ability to track multiple projects meticulously, and to meet tight deadlines while remaining flexible and adaptable
  • Strong desire to learn new trends in public healthcare, and keep up to date with these trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the abilityto work in multiple teams and coordinate efforts across different stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, and thrive in adynamic, fluid and rapidly evolving environment
  • Experiencein the healthcare industry is advantageous, but not required
