Job ResponsibilitiesStrategizing and planning a multi-year calendar of activities to educate Team Members on key sustainability issues
Work pro-actively with clients in executing sustainable events and partnerships
Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to ensure successful implementation of ISO 14001/20121 programme
Work pro-actively with clients in executing sustainable events and partnerships
Support sustainability-based communications online & onsite including reports, case studies, videos, social media, events and website.
Supporting data collection, writing, content & design process for annual Responsible Business Highlights report
Developing sustainability property collaterals, signage & communiques
Develop staff sustainability training programmes
Supporting hospitality-related sustainability certifications including Events Industry Council Sustainable Event Standards, and Global Sustainable Tourism Council certification
Supporting sustainability award submissions
Supporting creation of sustainability content for executive presentations (e.g., senior leadership presentations to universities, trade associations etc.)
Supporting reporting of environmental performance to sustainability steering committee & corporate team
Supporting sustainability tours for media/KOLs
Work closely with management team to set and/or implement operational policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation
Technical SkillsGood educator and communicator, that enjoys developing others to create better business practices.
A dynamic and motivated individual with good organizing abilities, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work within a multi-cultural team
Excellent planning and execution skills, persistent, and possessing a customer-centric approach.
Mature, meticulous, resourceful, organized and able to work independently and collectively within a multi-cultural team
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Sound knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, using SPSS or Excel
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and at least one other language
Job Requirements
Education & CertificationA degree or diploma in Business, Marketing/Communications, Sustainability, Hospitality, or the Social Sciences
ExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant working experience
Other PrerequisitesRelevant experience in sustainability, communications or hospitality industries is preferred
Passion, knowledge and drive to create a more sustainable world
Ability to articulate business value of sustainability
