What the role is:

The Ops Tech Specialist plays an integral role in VITAL\'s shared services team, delivering technical solutions and supporting the business with operational related investigations, application upgrades and support, optimising performance as well as business continuity planning and testing.

What you will be working on:

As the Ops Tech Specialist in VITAL, your role will encompass the following: 1. Collaborate with VITAL\'s operations team to review and automate processes using Microsoft tools (VBA, Macro, Power Query) and/or developer software such as UiPath 2. Review work processes and systems and recommend possible improvements to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness 3. Perform business analysis and surface meaningful insights 4. Prepare specification documents and user guides for users 5. Manage and maintain data sets for analysis 6. Identify new emerging analytical tools in the market and deploy pilot testing 7. Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned by supervisors

What we are looking for:

• Strong analytical skills to help collect, measure, organise and analyse data \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in tools like Excel, VBA, Access, Power Query, etc for data analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, PowerBI \xe2\x80\xa2 Problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Verbal and Written communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python will be advantageous
