What the role is:
We are seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and self-driven individual to join NYP's Communication & Outreach Department.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on planning and executing impactful events, building meaningful partnerships with educators, and proactively guiding students and their families to make informed post-secondary education options. You should have a strong understanding of how to run events from end to end, think strategically, and be confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels
What you will be working on:

• Conceptualise, plan, and execute a wide range of outreach initiatives, including campus visits, workshops, exhibitions, admissions-related talks, and more. This includes running campus-wide events like Open House and the Early Admissions Exercise Festival.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with secondary schools' educators, proactively driving engagement efforts to build and sustain long-term relationships.
• Actively identify and pursue new outreach opportunities, including meaningful collaborations with schools, external partners, and vendors to broaden our reach and network.
• Develop a good understanding of NYP's course offerings and translate these insights into targeted outreach initiatives that effectively engage and attract prospective students.
• Gather, monitor, and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach activities and use data-driven insights to improve decision-making.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant qualification in communications, event management, marketing, or related fields
• Prior experience in outreach, events, or business development is highly desired

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent project management skills; able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently
• Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to engage with teachers, parents and students effectively
• Strong business development mindset with the ability to spot outreach opportunities and convert them into impactful initiatives
• Able to analyse and interpret data to derive actionable insights for improvement

Personal Attributes:

• Passionate about connecting with people, managing student engagement, and leveraging data to optimise outreach efforts
• Willingness to work outside of normal office hours and on weekends when required
• Able to travel to various secondary schools for outreach events
