What the role is:To achieve HTA\'s goal of becoming a digitally empowered and future-ready Corporate University of the HT by 2025, HTA is focusing on Training and Learning Excellence which are aligned with the directions of HTT 2025 and the Public Sector Transformation. To continue strengthening the HT T&L ecosystem, HTA aims to become the HT\'s Centre of Excellence (CoE) for T&L in Evaluation and Assessment (one of 4 areas) which will enable us to continue to co-create and deliver high quality T&L initiatives and develop skilled HT leaders, trainers and officers. The CoE Evaluation and Assessment is envisioned to fulfil its mission to ensure HT Evaluation and Assessment systems are robust, valid and reliable. It aims to impact HT T&L ecosystem at three levels, i.e individual, department and organisational. The job holder serves as the (1) curriculum planning arm of CLS responsible for conceptualising, operationalising and reviewing the Home Team Curriculum Masterplan (HT TCM) aimed at strengthening Home Team capabilities in curriculum design and development for relevance and currency; (2) Subject Matter Expert for Curriculum Design and Development (CDD) Framework and advanced pedagogies, responsible for facilitating and driving their implementation at HT level to align and enhance curriculum practices; (3) learning solutionist to propose learning interventions, design learning solutions and courseware materials as well as to drive learning experience excellence, and evaluate learning/programme effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement.What you will be working on:Key responsibilities include: 1. Assist AD/CPEA in the review and update the Home Team Curriculum Masterplan for currency and relevance to enhance its effectiveness for adoption and application across the Home Team a. Assist AD/CPEA to ensure the Curriculum Design and Development Framework stay current, relevant and benchmarked to industry best practices 2. Assist AD/CPEA to drive adoption of curriculum design and development (CDD) framework across the HT to enable the development of learner-centred curriculum a. Work with HTA Centres and HT Departments to align their learning curriculum design to the guidelines established in the HT TCM and CDD framework by conducting facilitation learning workshops and providing guidance on application of frameworks to their learning curriculum 3. Design learning solutions and explore technologies to drive learning experience excellence a. Procure and work with industry expertise to develop coursewares to enable HT officers to learn and apply the CDD framework b. Pilot trials and design interventions to drive innovative learning 4. Contribute to academic publications and knowledge forums on latest and emerging trends to further curriculum design and advanced pedagogies knowledge and practice a. Share knowledge on latest and emerging trends with HT stakeholders through presentations at knowledge forums and publishing learning articles via CLS Key Portal, HT social media platforms and other academic journals and knowledge forums 5. Promote KM via CLS Key Portal and linkages with industry SMEs/IHLs to share best practices via CoPs/seminars/learning visits on advanced pedagogies and curriculum design models a. Organise Communities of Practice/Learning Visits/Seminars to share relevant and updated knowledge on curriculum development with the Home Team training and learning community 6. Assist AD/CPEA in programme evaluation to determine effectiveness and recommend areas for improvement a. Plan evaluation, conduct interviews, transcribe and analyse data, and recommend areas for improvement. 7. Implement and manage programmes and initiatives to facilitate and support learning operations, including the use of technology, to improve work efficiency and achieve organisational outcomes. a. Solicit Training requirements b. Procure and manage training courses at HT level. c. Support learner programme placement and the execution of programme. d. Analyse feedback gathered from participants and implement changes to improve training processes. e. Provide access to training materials via HTA KEY portal.What we are looking for:Knowledge and skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with a range of curriculum design models and learning design principles and methodologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep up to date on areas such as learning sciences, contemporary pedagogical and adult learning methodologies and emerging educational learning technologies \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with Training and Adult Education Workforce Skills Qualification (TAE WSQ) Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3 years of experience in curriculum/learning design.
