Quality Assurance Engineering
General Summary:

As a Qualcomm Quality Engineer, you will plan, implement, and manage compliance of design, development/manufacturing, production processes, and/or quality requirements with safety, quality, and regulatory standards for worldwide distribution. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Minimum Qualifications: o Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

• Leading Advance Failure Analysis group which involves execution of failure part analysis from external customer return, Reliability, Product Development / Technology Development / SIN and WUXI Production.
• Lead the FA personals to determine the defect and root cause determination.
• Working with external lab services on selection of right FA tools to determine the root cause of the defects.
• Provide failure analysis to PD and TD for product improvement, wafer/package development projects.
• Physical package analysis of competitor's parts.
• New FA. method and equipment upgrade to match new package introduce to production.
• Plan analysis throughput according to new technology and forecast.
• Providing FA training to new Engineers / Tech. Continual upgrade of FA skills and technique to existing Engr / Tech as technology advances.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in semiconductor / electronics manufacturing industry and in areas of failure analysis

Skills, Abilities & Knowledge

• Possess strong analytical skills, articulate, self-motivated and a team player.
• Experience and knowledgeable in FA equipment such as cross-section / SEM / EDS / FIB / Ion CP / CT X-ray / RIE / C-SAM etc is essential.
• Knowledge in wide span of micro-electronics failure analytical methodology is essential.
