Primary Purpose and Scope

Design, configure and implement SAP S/4HANA Cloud ERP Public Edition for customers across diverse industries, aligning solutions with business requirements. Provide deep functional and business consulting expertise in finance (FICO) ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that align with SAP best practices. Deliver S/4HANA Cloud demonstrations to support presales activities, articulating business value and technical capabilities to prospective customers. Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and strengthen our internal SAP Cloud delivery capabilities.

Key Result Areas and Accountabilities

Business Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

Analyse and document customer business needs, processes, and challenges to deliver tailored S/4HANA Cloud solutions aligned with SAP best practices. Develop high-quality functional specifications, process flows, and solution architectures.
Solution Configuration & Implementation

Lead the configuration and implementation of finance modules within S/4HANA Cloud projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client objectives. Oversee solution testing, data migration, and cutover activities.
Project Delivery

Manage project deliverables and milestones for S/4HANA Cloud implementations. Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget, escalating as necessary.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction and acceptance throughout the project lifecycle.
Training & Knowledge Transfer

Develop and deliver training sessions and user adoption workshops for customer teams. Guide and coach junior consultants to strengthen the team's functional and delivery capabilities.
Sales Support & Presales Activities

Develop and deliver impactful S/4HANA Cloud demonstrations, showcasing key functionalities tailored to customer business scenarios. Collaborate with the sales team to highlight system capabilities and translate technical features into business solutions.
Professional Development & Continuous Learning

Maintain up-to-date certifications for S/4HANA Cloud Finance and related SAP technologies. Stay abreast of latest S/4HANA Cloud developments, industry trends, and emerging best practices.

Requirements

Must Have

Minimum 5 years of SAP Finance (FICO) experience with hands-on configuration and delivery in SAP S/4HANA projects (preferably including Public Cloud or fit-to-standard Private Cloud implementations) in a consulting or professional services role. Experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementation, or equivalent fit-to-standard S/4HANA Private Cloud using SAP Activate methodology. Strong domain knowledge, in financial accounting, controlling, management accounting, and financial reporting. Solid understanding of finance-related business processes in manufacturing, energy, healthcare, distribution, or construction industries. Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and thrive in fast-paced project environments. Strong proficiency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
Nice to Have

Experience with SAP Business ByDesign Cloud ERP or other SaaS cloud ERP solutions. Exposure to multi-country or global template rollouts. Team leadership, mentoring, or people management experience. Broader cross-industry knowledge beyond core focus sectors.
