Job Description

• Perform a variety of routine and some non-routine finance and accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting reports and tables pertaining to cash receipts, expenditures, account payable and receivable, and profits or losses for use in monthly costings, management reports, annual reports, etc.
• Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties pertaining to financial statistics, surveys, research information, statutory returns, and benchmarking
• Support the development and implementation of best financial practices, policies, procedures, processes, and systems
• Support investment management activities, reporting and controls, evaluation, monitoring and control of financial risk management of projects.
• Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting to achieve business financial targets and objectives and support budgetary control activities and reporting

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance
• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of internal controls and compliance
• Good understanding of accounting standards, statutory and corporate tax regulations
• Familiar and conversant with construction contracts, FRS11, IFRS15 and FRS115 accounting
