to join our Group Finance team. This role will begin with a primary focus on
Accounts Payable (AP)
for one of our F&B entities, including managing
data entries for any missing or backlogged invoices
. Based on performance and business needs, there will be opportunity to
progressively take on responsibilities for the full set of accounts
for other entities within the group, while possibly continuing to support AP. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic, multi-brand F&B environment and is keen to grow within a group finance structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
Manage full spectrum of AP functions including invoice verification, coding, and processing.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of AP entries, including handling data entry for missing, delayed, or backlogged invoices.
Coordinate with outlet teams to retrieve and validate supporting documents (e.g., delivery orders, invoices).
Prepare payment runs (TT/GIRO/FAST) and ensure payments are made on schedule.
Maintain vendor records and perform monthly AP aging and reconciliations.
Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and respond to AP-related inquiries.
Ensure proper GST treatment on supplier invoices in accordance with IRAS regulations.
Progressive Scope - Full Set of Accounts :
Take full ownership of the accounts for assigned companies within the group.
Handle General Ledger, AR/AP, fixed assets, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and perform timely month-end and year-end closings.
Prepare financial reports and management accounts for review.
Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST filing, other regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
Support internal and annual audit and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
Support any other finance-related requirements as assigned by the managers.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including AP and full set of accounts.
Experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry preferred.
Able to manage time and tasks across different companies within a group structure.
Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office.
Good knowledge of local GST regulations and accounting standards.
Meticulous, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, multi-entities environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience in handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Familiarity with centralised finance/shared service setups.
Available to commence work at short notice is an advantage.
