Finance & Accounting Supervisor (Full Set of Accounts)
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take the lead in a dynamic, project-driven environment? This role offers the opportunity to oversee a full spectrum of finance operations while driving process improvements and supporting business growth.
What Youll Do
Lead and mentor a small team of Account Executives, providing guidance on daily accounting operations including journal entries, AP/AR, and bookkeeping.
Manage the full set of accounts with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions.
Oversee key financial activities such as bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, month-end and year-end closing.
Prepare financial statements, schedules, and management reports for internal review and external audit.
Review and handle quarterly GST submissions and liaise with auditors and tax agents for statutory filings and annual audits.
Partner with the corporate secretary to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including Annual Returns and AGM/EGM documentation.
Provide financial insights and operational advice to management to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and safeguard company assets.
Drive efficiency by reviewing and improving accounting processes and spearheading the implementation of the new QuickBooks system.
Undertake other ad-hoc finance responsibilities as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts, ideally within a project-based or equipment installation environment.
Proven track record in supervising and developing accounting staff.
Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax regulations.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
