The Company

Our client is a fast-growing Japanese Fin-tech MNC with ambitious growth plan in the APAC region. They are partnering with us to look for a hands-on Senior Finance Manager to overlook the regional financial consolidation and reporting to help grow the business further. It\'s a great opportunity for candidates who is strong in IFRS standards, consolidation and keen to work with supportive, empowering senior leaders.

The Role

Reporting to Regional Finance Director, you will take charge of the international business units for sub-group level consolidation and reporting matters, provide overview of internal control and compliance etc before submitting to Japan HQ. You will also be the main advisor for technical accounting matters such as IFRS 10 consolidation standard and IFRS 28 etc.) On top of which, you will take part in potential process improvement projects when business expands further.

The Profile

To be a successful candidate, you must be:

• Qualified accountant with a Degree in Accounting/Finance
• At least 8-12 years of financial accounting experience.
• Prior Big 4 experience followed with commercial exposure is preferred
• Must have good financial consolidation background (familiar with IFRS 10/27/28 etc.)
• Additionally, you must possess strong communication skills to drive business partnering and must be able to influence business stakeholders
• A good team player, someone who is hands-on, meticulous and independent
