Build the financial narrative relating to productivity gains and benefits realization of cost initiatives and input into senior management reports.
Share best practice on cost control and provide added support across finance activities relating to cost management and optimization of the Functions and TTO cost base.
Improved data capture in the system of reference to deliver increased transparency at a group level, on the cost portfolio and related benefits realization.
Partner and collaborate with the finance functions to align and interlock productivity benefits in segment/business financial performance. Ensure that cost saves are adequately embedded in the Corporate Plan and in line with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s overall cost agenda.
Identify and leverage technology solutions that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sustainable saves tracking process with the right blend of controls and optimized workflows.
Business
Drive consistent and standardized cost and headcount tracking across the functional groups to ensure cost transparency.
Collaborate with finance and COO organisation across the TTO and Functions domains in defining the validation process and associated RACI which ensures integrity of reported saves in-line with actual cost performance of the functions.
Work in close collaboration with the finance and COO teams to build out cost analytics capabilities as part of overall management of the cost portfolio.
Provide insightful analysis of cost opportunities, highlighting trends, outliers and areas of optimization.

Implement high-quality dashboards and analytics tool to provide a holistic view of enterprise-wide sustainable saves, facilitating strategic decision-making.
Establish documentation standards for cost saving initiatives, including supporting evidence, assumptions and methodology.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and management reporting and policies.
Ensure both cost savings and investment are properly and consistently accounted for across the bank.

Our Ideal Candidate
University educated
Qualified Accountant i.e. CPA, CMA, ACCA.
Finance experience of 14+ years, with specialization in Cost Analytics / FP&A.
Prior experience in financial services is preferred, open to looking at COOs/BPMs type profile as long as they have been focused on costs and performance management.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Finance experience with specialization in Cost Analytics / FP&A.
Proven track record in delivering cost efficiencies and productivity.
Senior stakeholder experience in a global, highly matrix organization, preferably Banking.
Strong familiarity with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s financial systems and control frameworks, knowledge of cost recharge frameworks and familiarity with unit pricing models.
Exceptional analytical skills, using advanced quantitative techniques and modelling tools, with ability to conceptualize and develop proof of concept frameworks, scenario analysis and business cases.
