Oversee and manage group consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings and preparation of consolidated financial statements. Review subsidiaries' monthly management accounts and ensure compliance with group accounting policies. Prepare/ review monthly management reports. Review monthly cashflow forecasts. Co-ordinate the preparation and review of annual budget and forecasts. Perform financial analysis to support business decisions and optimize profitability. Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including day-to-day financial operations for newly set up business units and investment holding companies. Review and ensure timely submission of GST returns. Review tax computation and ensure accurate and timely income tax filing. Handle group tax planning and transfer pricing analysis and documentation. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements. Liaise with bankers, lawyer, company secretary, external auditors, tax consultants and government agencies. Review and update group accounting policies and procedures and ensure compliance by entities within the group. Drive financial process improvements and strengthen internal controls. Manage, coach and develop the finance team. Handle any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Degree in accounting, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification. At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience including group consolidation and financial reporting. Prior experience in F&B industry is a plus. Prior audit experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Oracle Netsuite or similar ERP systems. Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations. Meticulous, strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, hands-on, adaptable and resourceful team player with strong management and supervisory skills. * Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage, as the role requires regular communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
