Position Summary
This role is responsible for assisting the Financial Planning and Analysis function in analyzing Teleflex business in SEA+ (SEA, HK, TW). This includes regular weekly/monthly reports, periodic Forecasts, Strategic Plan, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP). The position is based in Teleflex Singapore office and will have experience of over six years of a multi-location financial structure.
Principal Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Responsible for timely, accurate management reporting that includes weekly sales estimates, monthly P&L and financial trend reports to APAC
• Prepare and provide analytical support on key monthly financial deliverables like New Products, OPEX etc.
• Assist in the development of rolling Forecasts, Strategic Plan, and AOP
• Improve current practices by driving better accuracy and streamlining processes

Expense Management

• Monitor Opex spending and distribute Opex reports to cost center owners; provide guidance to owners to ensure actual spending are kept within Forecasts and AOP
• Support Business Units structure for operating expenses, and other ad hoc analysis/projects

Sales and COGs Reporting

• Update Trade Sales and COGS by Business Unit/Product Segment for direct entities
• Update Intercompany Sales and COGS by Business Unit/Product Segment to send to regional counterparts

Business Partnering

• Support go-direct initiatives & tracking performance
• Assist in the delivery of reviews/presentations decks as and when required by the business
• Other ad-hoc requests when required

Education / Experience Requirements

• Certified Accountant with Degree in Accounting or related qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a similar position with an International multi-location Group

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities with a keen eye for details.
• Possesses strong can-do attitude; able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Communicate effectively and able to present reports & ideas succinctly.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Hyperion, BI tools. Familiarity with SAP & macros would be an added advantage
• A team player, highly organized and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
• Able to deal with changing priorities and multiple deadlines covering a broad range of responsibilities.
• Possesses high degree of initiative and self-motivation
• Able to work under pressure and deliver quality work in an efficient manner
