Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst, Ethicon Asia Pacific will be responsible for supporting business decision and financial management of Ethicon business across Asia Pacific. The role will be required to actively engage and at the country/region/global level(s) to assist key decision-making.

Detailed Responsibilities include:

  • Support financial business decision support to regional marketing and finance leadership by effectively identifying and framing results through financial analysis. Individual will need to partner closely with country, region and global teams.
  • Support portfolio management discussions and investment analysis to drive sustainable growth.
  • Support regional Mid Term Planning (MTP) process, review and consolidate country submissions, and prepare management review decks. Requires close collaboration with regional commercial, Strategic Insights & Analytics (SI&A) and country/global finance teams.
  • Analyze regional platform P&L\'s and provide insights to influence markets for performance improvement and resource allocation.
  • Partner with cross functional teams such as supply chain on S&OP/IBP, Inventory Planning
  • Continuously improve operational efficiency by understanding requirement and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Coordinate and support any global submissions
Other Duties include:
  • Supports ad hoc requests / projects
  • Supports continuous improvement activities like portfolio optimization in each platform
  • Participates in training to increase knowledge & skill
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Required Years of Related Experience: 6 Years
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication and business partnership skills, strong collaboration and learning agility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, CPA, CMA or other financial certification
  • Preferred Related Industry Experience (if applicable): MedTech, healthcare experience preferred
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of general finance/accounting processes.
  • Strong influencer, independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
