JOB DESCRIPTION

Prepare commercial price & technical proposal for Fire Protection System (Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression, Sprinkler system and etc.)
Reviewing contract documents
Preparing BOM, BOQ, Quantity Take-off, unit rate price-in
Study drawings, specifications for technical compliance & deviations.
Preparing tender documentation including cost summary sheets, risk assessments and approval documentation.
Technical and engineering knowledge for fire alarm, fire protection system.
Complete tender follow-up and negotiations.
Prepare enquiry document to vendor and subcontractors
Build and maintain pricing / estimating databases and ensure out turn costs are captured and feedback through the system
Liaise with supply chain for pricing purposes, develop and maintain relationships
To support Project Manager
To manage site progress with Subcontractor, Vendors, Workers
To interface with Client and Other Contractors

REQUIREMENTS

Technical knowledge in Fire protection/alarm system, Plumbing & Sanitary System
Network with vendors & subcontractors
Able to design & review fire alarm system
Able to prepare Bill of Material including sundry items for procurement & self-performance
Able to control and monitor work-force/workers
Degree/Diploma Holder for the relevant major (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
Working Experience as a Fire Specialist
