Job Description

Oversee the maintenance of the fire safety systems in the premises Test the fire safety systems and public address system (if any) to ensure that they are in good operating condition Ensure that the annual Fire Certificate is timely renewed and prominently displayed Ensure that all fire-fighting equipment and fire protection installations are properly maintained and renewed and be ready for use in a fire incident. Fire prevention shall form part of the Managing Agent's regular meetings on health and workplace safety matters. Assist the Authority to formulate the Emergency Response Plan comprising all civil defence data, fire emergency evacuation plan and procedures, audit report, In-place Protection Plan (IPP) and Arson Prevention Plan (APP), etc as required by the Authorities Keep proper records of all incident reports, fire evacuation drills and other fire prevention campaigns and exercises carried out throughout the Contract Period and Option Years, if renewed. To be familiar with the Authorities' guidelines and requirements and various procedures of applications, submission processes and enforcement matters. Prepare and conduct fire emergency evacuation plans and procedures and conduct fire drills and fire safety briefing for the occupants therein annually or on such occasion as may be directed by the Fire Safety Bureau and/or To maintain and manage all CERT equipment in good working condition at all times (Evaluate the effectiveness of such exercise and drills. To conduct at least two Table-top Exercises and two fire drills of the specified premises within 12 months period or at such frequency required under the Authority / Statutory requirement. Submit annual fire safety report to the Authority. To set up a fire safety committee made up of suitable staff from the occupants and to put up reports to the Authority on the fire safety of the premises. To liaise and co-ordinate with Singapore Civil Defence Force on all matters relating to fire safety and its requirements. Supervise the operation of the Fire Command Centre. Setup, plan organise and manage Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) within the premises Propose budget including maintenance for CERT equipment to the Authority for the assigned building Maintain and manage all CERT equipment in good working condition at all times Requirements Diploma in Building Services and Fire Safety, Engineering, FM, Real Estate management Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) to be registered with the SCDF
