We manage the risks arising from the Group\'s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profileJob ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Country and Credit Risk Management Division within Group Risk Management. The candidate will play a critical role in assessing climate-related risks within our credit portfolio. The position involves developing, implementing, and conducting climate risk scenario analyses and stress tests to inform business decision-making, regulatory compliance, and internal risk management practices.Responsibilities

  • Research and development of the Bank\'s credit stress testing framework and methodology, focusing on climate risk scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of climate change on our assets, investments and financial performance.
  • Design and conduct bank-wide stress tests to assess the resilience of our credit portfolio and business strategies under various climate and macro stress scenarios.
  • Analyze and interpret results from climate risk scenario analyses and macro stress tests to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry best practices, and emerging trends in climate risk assessment and stress testing.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and investors.
  • Support the development and maintenance of system and data infrastructure for climate risk scenario analysis and stress testing.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on climate risk scenario analysis and stress testing methodologies.
Job Requirements
  • Recognised university degree in related field.
  • Previous experience (8 to 12 years) in banking, consultancy or related industry, with specific emphasis on climate risk, stress testing, credit risk models, regulatory requirements or other related areas.
  • Strong understanding of climate change science, climate-related financial risks and regulatory requirements (e.g., TCFD, NGFS, ECB guidelines).
  • Proficiency in quantitative data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences.
