What the role is:We are looking for passionate candidates to be part of a team applying Digital and Video/Image technologies to scientific analysis, simulation, and reconstruction. In this dynamic role, you will drive continuous improvement and cutting-edge solutions and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals across forensic chemistry, physics, and engineering disciplines, utilising your specialised knowledge to support forensic investigations.What you will be working on:

• Provide quality and efficient forensic science services for casework in the area of Digital, Video and Image Analysis within an accredited forensic testing environment, ensuring strict adherence to international standards and quality protocols.
• Conduct a wide range of analytical procedures, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide expert testimony in court for the administration of justice.
• Provide expert consultation services to the law enforcement agencies, lawyers and others.
• Stay informed of the latest research to determine the best methods for analysing evidence.
• Develop and implement significant improvements to methodology, and resolve any identified problems.

What we are looking for:Job Requirements

• Background in a physical science related to Physics, Chemistry, and Material Science or engineering discipline.
• Knowledge/skills in computer science, computer engineering, digital forensics, or information technology.
• Alternatively, a combination of relevant academic qualifications, work or project experience, or professional certifications in digital forensics or information technology may be considered.
• Strong motivation and commitment to protecting public health and safety.
• Strong interest in working on digital technology, including video and multimedia.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
• Self-driven and able to work independently, prioritise tasks, set meaningful objectives, and complete assignments in a timely manner while maintaining a collaborative team spirit.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extensive oral presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Excellent computer literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python or Java.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in forensic technologies and best practices.
