With multiple banks and insurers pushing countless products out to consumers in the market today, navigating one\'s way through all the marketing and technical jargon while dodging the tactics of their overly pushy sales representatives simultaneously can be a major challenge, even for the experienced consumer. Mission
Bubblegum (BBG) is a new and fast-growing division within the MoneySmart Group that aims to bring customers the best insurance products at the sweetest prices possible. Bubblegum is growing quickly, and we\'re searching for a frontend engineer who is fluent in React JS/TypeScript that\'s excited to work closely with our existing web and marketing teams. With significant investment and strong leadership to fuel our growth, it\'s the perfect time to join the Bubblegum team. Responsibilities- Work with our designers and product owner to build components end to end on a customer facing web app using React JS & Typescript;
- Work with third-party services like GTM, Mixpanel, Stripe, Segment, Voucherify;
- Provide technical documentation for all systems as needed;
- Care deeply about performance, scalability, and security;
- Bachelor\'s degree in IT related discipline;
- You ideally have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working in software development;
- Strong understanding of React, TypeScript, Next.js, and SSR;
- Experience working with GraphQL and Apollo is highly preferred;
- You are keen to contribute towards building a solid frontend infrastructure for your fellow developers, and have good knowledge of tools for bundling, building, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD for the frontend;
- You are skilled in setting up and automating frontend testing environments and writing corresponding tests;
- A big plus, if you are experienced with AWS or Azure services;
