Founded by two MIT graduates and located in Boston and Singapore, NetVirta is the world's leading fit technology provider for medical, retail and sports equipment brands, helping customers order the right size with precision 3D body scanning. We began serving the medical industry in 2013, helping doctors scan medical patients to create custom-fit orthotics and prosthetics. In 2017, we expanded to enable NFL and NCAA football players to obtain custom-fit helmets. What can you expect You will join our growing technology team in the Singapore office. As a Senior Frontend Developer/Engineer at NetVirta, you will work on our Business Portal and WebSDK. As a Senior Backend Developer/Engineer at NetVirta, you will work on our web services as well as various associated cloud technology. Frontend Responsibilities Frontend development primarily in Typescript(Angular) and CSS Web interface and SDK development Build reusable libraries and components Backend Responsibilities Backend development primarily in Python(Django) and MySQL Data processing and migration Build reusable libraries and components Required Skills & Experience Bachelors in Computer Science or related fields Knowledgeable in (frontend technologies including but not limited to Angular, Html Javascript, SCSS) or (back-end technologies including but not limited to Django, MySQL, AWS Services) Excellent and precise communication skills Excellent debugging and problem solving skills 3-5 years working experience in backend/frontend development Design and architect resilient and scalable software Able to review code and software & database architecture, mentor and drive software development best practices Hands on full stack experience highly preferred Knowledgeable in Agile & Scrum methodologies Preferred Traits Motivated self-starter who is quick to adapt and work with minimal supervision Active and keen learner who keeps up-to-date with industry trends Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills Good time management and organizational skills Ability and desire to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated ability to develop robust products and make difficult tradeoffs in a high-paced production environment Bachelors in Computer Science or related fields Knowledgeable in (frontend technologies including but not limited to Angular, Html Javascript, SCSS) or (back-end technologies including but not limited to Django, MySQL, AWS Services) Excellent and precise communication skills Excellent debugging and problem solving skills 3-5 years working experience in backend/frontend development Design and architect resilient and scalable software Able to review code and software & database architecture, mentor and drive software development best practices Good-to-Have Hands on full stack experience highly preferred Knowledgeable in Agile & Scrum methodologies What else are awaiting for you Career development opportunities, like mentoring, career exploration through a Japanese concept called Ikigai.
