The Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Frameworks - Spring, Spring boot, Spring batch, ReactJS, DB-SQL Server.
  • 7+ years of working experience in software development, full stack development is preferred.
  • Well versed with API gateways like KongGateway.
  • Technical Stack: Java, Spring, database (Oracle/ SQL Server/ PostgreSQL) REST APIs, ReactJS.
  • Technical Tools: Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket or Git, CI/CD (Maven, Git, Jenkins), Development IDE such as Eclipse, Intelij IDEA or VS Code.
  • Cloud: Well versed with migrating applications from on-premises to cloud -AWS, Strong on IaC \xe2\x80\x93 terraforms, Ansible.
  • Understanding of cyber security \xe2\x80\x93 risks and their mitigations.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Hands-on working experience in release management and providing technical support (PSS).
Business
  • Full stack developer will be a key member of Regulatory Technology Team and responsible for delivering the various technology and vendor solutions used in Regulatory Technology. The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme.
People and Talent
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle which follows Agile methodology, focusing on coding and debugging.
  • Work with development teams and product owners to create software solutions.
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture.
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
  • Write effective APIs.
  • Write clean code to develop functional web applications.
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
  • Create security and data protection settings.
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements.
  • Build reusable code and libraries.
Risk Management
  • Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees.
Governance
  • Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business.
