We're an early-stage AI startup building intelligent research agents for retail and institutional investors. Our product helps users go beyond search and summarization to generate insights through AI agents over financial data.
Responsibilities
Own the full stack: Build and ship product features across frontend (Next.js, Tailwind) and backend (Python, FastAPI, OpenSearch).
Implement core user flows: E.g chat interface, contextual document viewer, and right-click actions tied to model reasoning.
Design and develop backend services to handle agentic orchestration, RAG pipelines, caching, and telemetry for user interactions.
Work closely with the founder (technical) to iterate fast based on user feedback.
Lay technical foundations for analytics, logging, and future LLM fine-tuning workflows.
Who We Are Looking For
You're a builder with strong full stack chops -- and bonus points if you've ever:
Built personal finance dashboards, screeners, or investment research tools
Followed earnings calls or explored financial filings out of curiosity
Wondered how to use LLMs to actually thinkabout stocks, not just summarize them
We're especially excited about engineers who speak the language of investment analysts, or are eager to learn it -- you'll be building tools that help users explore financial data with the intuition of a human analyst.
Qualifications
Have 5+ years of experience in full stack development (senior engineer or equivalent skill level), exceptional candidates below the required level of experience will be considered on a case by case basis
Are fluent in Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and modern React patterns
Know your way around Python, FastAPI, and working with OpenSearch or other search infra
Have experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, open-source) and working with vector search/RAG
Value speed, ownership, and pragmatic code quality over over-engineering
* Thrive in ambiguity and are energized by building something from scratch
