Job Description

Our client is a global leading design and engineering MNC consultancy with strong presence worldwide. They have done numerous iconic projects both in building & civil infrastructure. They are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to manage projects in Singapore.

:

• Coordinate with other disciplines to prepare design delivery while taking the initiative.
• Lead the creation of comprehensive design reports, computations, and drawings. Create submissions for governmental organizations/authorities.
• Lead the creation of the tender documents.
• Participate in the project tendering process.
• Take part in the efficient completion of tasks.
• Mentoring and teaching younger people.
• Project management, coordination, and design management for significant projects.
• Carry out any additional tasks if given.

Requirements:

• Min Professional Engineers Board (PEB) recognized bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Min 5 years of experience in engineering and consulting environment working on infrastructure and buildings projects. \xe2\x80\x93 MRT, etc
• Familiar and adhere to Singapore codes and authority submission procedures.
• Knowledgeable about the design and administration of large earth retaining and stabilizing structures, deep foundations, reclamations, ground improvements, and slope stabilities.
• Experience with the preparation of Geotechnical Interpretative Reports, impact assessment of structures and instrumentations, and FEM software
• Excellent interpersonal, good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have good knowledge of common structural design software.
• Good project and time management skills, and strong analytical skills.
• Team player and able to work independently.
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight timeline.
