The abillion Creative Team is looking for a highly-motivated Graphic Designer who is passionate about the sustainability space and storytelling through graphic design and animation. The right candidate will be well-versed in both digital and print media with a specialty in digital animation. This position is a temporary 3 month contract. Working closely with our Creative Director and the Content Team, you will ideate and produce content that inspires and empowers the members of abillion. You should be enthusiastic about your craft, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be an excellent collaborator and able to communicate confidently in team-based projects. You should be organised and reliable and, most importantly, you should be creative! Responsibilities

• Create concepts, designs, and finished artwork for a wide variety of creative assets
• Above assets to include social media content, animation/illustration, digital ads, direct marketing pieces, and email campaigns and templates
• Strong emphasis on digital animation and motion graphics, combining both filmed footage and digital illustrations
• Interpret the project owners\xe2\x80\x99 business needs and advise on brief direction
• Effectively translate the brand and visual guidelines in all assets produced
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of an inspiring and engaging abillion brand
• Work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with others to ideate and execute designs
• Manage day-to-day ad hoc design requests

• 5 years\' + experience in a similar role
• Strong portfolio of design work that demonstrates an eye for typography and layout, with a demonstrated understanding of colours and composition
• Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc)
• Awareness and interest in global design trends and sector specific trends
• Understanding of designing for social media, creating motion graphics and digital video a plus
• Demonstrated passion in the sustainability space a must
• Enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Able to work independently with excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Strong creativity and organizational skills
