What the role is:Our healthcare workforce comprises a sizeable majority of Singaporeans, complemented by foreign manpower who are an integral part of our healthcare team to meet Singapore\'s growing healthcare needs. As a Senior / Health Policy Analyst of Foreign Workforce Policy & Productivity in the Manpower Planning & Strategy Division, you will review and develop foreign manpower policies primarily for the acute hospitals and community care sector. You will also see through the successful implementation of these policies and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, to ensure sustainable access to and optimal distribution of foreign manpower across the healthcare sector to deliver essential care services. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities will include the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Policy Development: Analyse healthcare manpower challenges and trade-offs to develop policy recommendations related to attracting, retaining, and sustaining a complementary foreign healthcare workforce. \xe2\x80\xa2 Policy Implementation: Translate policies into actionable steps, and work with relevant stakeholders to co-ordinate the smooth implementation of policies and secure buy-in. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Work closely with a range of stakeholders (e.g. ministries, agencies, healthcare providers) to consolidate perspectives on foreign healthcare manpower issues, as well as co-create solutions.What we are looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and develop evidence-based recommendations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to policymakers and the public. \xe2\x80\xa2 Team player who appreciates different perspectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve collective objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability to changing circumstances. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior experience in policy development/implementation and project management will be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
