Summary \xe2\x80\x93 basic function of the role

Reporting to the EVP & CHRO, you will play a key role in managing human resources functions within our organization and staff within the region (India, China, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, & Australia). The role is responsible for embedding company HR practices in the region by working in collaboration with the centers of excellence and by providing professional HR guidance and support to relevant internal client groups with the objective to add value to the business.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, leading talent selection and onboarding processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local employment laws. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter capable of working on multiple projects at once with the flexibility to adjust quickly to changing conditions and demands. They will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to contribute strategically to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management and Talent Acquisition:

\xc2\xb7 Partners with leaders in the organization to understand and execute the organization\'s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

\xc2\xb7 Work with the Talent Acquisition team and interviews and assesses talent for open positions.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation.

Employee Relations:

\xc2\xb7 Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, maintaining confidentiality and fairness.

Performance Management:

\xc2\xb7 Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.

\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance-related issues.

Training and Development:

\xc2\xb7 Identify training needs within the organization and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs with the Learning and Development organization.

\xc2\xb7 Facilitate programs, team building events and manager assimilations as needed.

\xc2\xb7 Encourage and support employee development and career growth.

Compliance:

\xc2\xb7 Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.

\xc2\xb7 Work with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.

Policy Development and Implementation:

\xc2\xb7 Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational goals.

\xc2\xb7 Communicate and educate employees on HR policies and procedures.

Benefits Administration:

\xc2\xb7 Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.

\xc2\xb7 Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and assist with problem resolution.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

\xc2\xb7 Compile and analyze HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare regular reports on HR activities, trends, and metrics for management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field and 5 to 6 years of experience as Human Resources Manager.

\xc2\xb7 Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.

\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

\xc2\xb7 Strong business and HR acumen, including problem solving skills and critical thinking.

\xc2\xb7 Strong work ethic and a personal commitment to high-quality deliverables

\xc2\xb7 Positive attitude and high on energy

\xc2\xb7 Self-reliant, resourceful, and able to work independently.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organization skills, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail. Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, growth environment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

\xc2\xb7 Strong functional knowledge of HRIS systems; knowledge of Oracle and ADP preferred.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

\xc2\xb7 The role may require up to 30% travel.

Physical Demands

Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee is able to work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time.

Work Environment

Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting, but may also include typical warehouse environment on occasion, where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to low levels of noise in an office.
