Chief People Office

Chief People Office (CPO) comprises a HR Business Partnering function who deliver people services with the support of the Centres of Excellence - Reward & HR Technology, Resourcing, HR Services, Payroll, Organisational Effectiveness & Engagement & Communication. Our purpose is twofold; to drive business performance and enabling our people to be brilliant.



Primary role purpose:

We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Coordinator to join CPO on a 5-month FTC as a maternity cover in Singapore. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience with a fast-paced Central Shared Services Hub and to become a knowledgeable HR professional delivering customer service excellence. The role will provide a comprehensive transactional and advisory support service to our customers as a member of the HR Shared Services team.

This role will support a globally distributed team of HR professionals and will be responsible for supporting a business of over 7000 employees across 20+ countries. The HR Shared Services Team report into the Global Director of Payroll and HR Operations and their primary accountabilities are to ensure that HR operations provide consistent, value-added customer service throughout all service delivery channels and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports day to day global HR operations providing first level HR support to employees and managers via our ServiceNow platform
  • First point of escalation for HR operations queries from internal stakeholders
  • Ensures timely updating of HR ServiceNow Knowledge Articles
  • Maintains/creates workflows within onboarding platform
  • Maintains HRIS records and workflows pertaining to employees globally and ensures entries are timely, accurate, consistent in relation to organizational adjustments, pay and reward changes, leave of absence requests and employee overall data
  • Supports hiring activities including pre-employment screening, preparing offer letters/contracts
  • Prepares various employee letters in a timely matter
  • Supports and ensures all work visas are renewed in a timely manner
  • Utilizing various HR systems such as Smart Recruiters, SuccessFactors, Enboarder, Credence Pre-employment Screening to coordinate related onboarding/offboarding logistics
  • Supports off-boarding process
  • Provides input into the payroll processing cycles
  • Participates in regional or global projects
  • Provides administrative support to Singapore office including visitors, staff events and meetings, car parking and corporate phone programs.
  • Manages statutory claim reporting such as NSmen claims, maternity leave and childcare leave and related administration
  • Assists on incoming mails and parcels distribution, invoice payments and ordering of business cards and company stamps
Qualifications

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

This is an entry level role which would suit someone with a strong interest in HR looking to gain or build experience in a busy HR Shared Services environment. Experience required includes:
  • A levels, Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR Administrative role
  • Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage workload
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear and effective verbal and written English communication skills
  • Demonstrated administrative and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach with ability to take initiative
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Recognized HR qualification
  • Experience working in a globally distributed team and complex matrixed organisation
