Job Description

Zalora is looking for a People Manager to join our People & Culture team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day People operations of the Singapore office. You will also be leading in meaningful projects spanning across internal process improvements to new exciting implementations for our People which will definitely give you an opportunity to contribute and make an impact on our Zalora employee experience! Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire employee life-cycle from onboarding to off-boarding, such as employment agreements, creating memorable employee experiences and exit interviews
• Provide guidance and advice on employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other HR issues
• Evaluate and implement tools or processes to ensure governance and data integrity
• Improve the assessment, delivery, and support execution of processes which support current and future business needs
• Stay abreast of local labor regulations and industry trends to provide factual advice to employees and managers
• Manage the monthly payroll process relating to joiners, leavers, transfers, salary adjustments, IR8A, IR21 and also monthly payroll reports to Finance
• Introduce HR digitization process by collaborating with the HRIS team to enhance employees overall HR experience and increase HR department productivity
• Provide periodic HR analytical reports and metrics
• Manage expatriate matters and regional talent mobility
• Manage employee queries and policy renewal in regards to medical, health insurance and work injury compensation

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or related field
• At least 5-6 years of experience in HR operations
• Experience of advising business managers on a range of HR policies, procedures and processes, adhering to HR best practices
• Experience of working in a large scale e-commerce firm or equivalent fast paced environment
• Experience in leading a small team
• Confident and assertive with cultural sensitivity to local business
