About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team, supporting a biologics facility expansion project for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for design review, construction oversight, and ensuring that all HVAC systems meet regulatory requirements and are optimized for facility operations. You will work closely with the project team to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient HVAC solution for a high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design Review & Oversight: Review and ensure HVAC system designs align with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Construction Support: Provide on-site support during construction, ensuring HVAC installations comply with design plans, codes, and standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure HVAC systems meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant biologics industry regulations. System Commissioning: Collaborate with the commissioning team to test and verify HVAC systems upon installation. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Address and resolve HVAC-related issues during construction and commissioning phases. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure thorough documentation of all HVAC-related designs, changes, and commissioning results. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to ensure HVAC systems integrate seamlessly with other facility systems.

Key Requirements

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of HVAC design and project engineering experience, with significant experience in biologics or pharmaceutical facility projects. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems design, installation, and commissioning, including cleanrooms, critical systems, and environmental control. Industry Standards: Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and other relevant biopharma regulations. * Skills: Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
