About this role

As a Senior ICT Consultant at Arup Singapore, you will play a vital role in providing ICT Infrastructure and network design consulting engineering services to our clients. This client-facing opportunity requires hands-on involvement in project design and management, offering a platform for experienced ICT consultants to further develop their careers. You will contribute to the development of our Digital Technology Consulting services, provide expert advice, and assist in enhancing our in-house technical standards, details, and specifications.

What will I do?

• Lead the design and deliverables for communication subsystems and relevant station interfaces, including CCTV, PA, UPS, Help Points, CIS, WiFi, Radio over IP, DOO cameras, and Wayfinding systems.

• Lead the station-wide fiber optic backbone design, including Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) specifications and placement, with extensive stakeholder liaison.

• Design Data Centre infrastructure supporting building IT systems, ELV systems, security systems, and corporate networks.

• Develop the basis of design/performance specification using AutoCAD and/or BIM design specifications.

• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal/external multidisciplined engineering teams.

What will I bring?

• Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a similar area.

• 8 to 12 years of relevant industry experience in delivering telecommunications infrastructure designs, preferably with rail infrastructure projects.

• Experience in designing Station Information and Security Systems (SISS), telephony, copper and fiber cabling, LAN/WAN, and SCADA.

• Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines.

• Membership of relevant professional institutions or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
