You will be part of a supportive team and management to achieve your responsibilities as a senior infant educarer. Your experience, knowledge and expertise will be highly valued in the implementation of centre programs, initiatives, and events.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the team of Infant Educarers in curriculum planning and execution of engaging activities in a Respectful, Responsive and Reciprocal manner in the Infant Bay of up to 25 infants or more.
Create a nurturing environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of age-appropriate activities and lessons.
Lead in planning of centre events as well as parent and community initiatives.
Carry out induction of SOP with new Infant Teachers.
Provide timely routine care to meet the needs of the infants.
Assist in planning the weekly roster schedule and checking of the Teacher's lesson plans and Weekly Activity Plan.
Ensure that proper and efficient communication with parents is upheld within the team.
Requirements:
Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) - EY2
At least 3 years of full-time experience working in the Infant Bay.
Prior experience in working with a big group of infants (20 or more) will be an added advantage.
Good communication, multitasking and interpersonal skills
Have a strong understanding of the EYDF framework and the relevant SOPs in the infant setting.
A team player with passion and interest in caring for infants and toddlers
Basic computer skills
