Senior Infrastructure Engineer - VMware & Wintel

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Lead - VMware & Wintel to join our client on direct contract basis. This is a 1-year contract role to start with an opportunity to get converted into a permanent position.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Design, install and configure Windows servers

- Proactively manage and maintain the Wintel environment

- Administer and support core Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware technologies

- Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency plans

- Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions

- Define and document best practices and support procedures

- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional

weekend maintenance

- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation

- Developing scripts to gain efficiencies for reporting and automating repetitive tasks

Required Skills:

- Advanced level of Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server with Active

Directory, DNS, DHCP and High Availability.

- Experience and knowledge with installing and implementing VMware ESXi server, VMware

vCenter, setting up vMotion, HA, DRS, and related VMware products such as VM vRealize

Operation Manager (vROps), Update manager and other products for virtualization

- Performing upgrades and applying patches or firmware updates to the virtual infrastructure

software or hardware, annual disaster recovery exercise

- Providing configuration management and security compliance for the virtual infrastructure

software and hardware

- Group Policy design and configuration

- Able to complete tasks independently
