As a Senior Inspector - Piping, you willperform and supervise inspection and quality control activities for piping fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning. The Senior Inspector ensures all piping works conform to project specifications, international codes, and client quality standards across FPSO, topside, and offshore platform projects.

Responsibilities:

Carry out inspection and verification for piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, and NDT in accordance with approved drawings, WPS, and ITPs.

Review and endorse inspection test plans (ITP), method statements, material certificates, and QC documentation.

Conduct surveillance and final inspections for:

? Carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and exotic alloy piping.

? High-pressure and cryogenic service lines.

? Utility, process, and HVAC-associated piping systems.

Verify welding consumables, joint identification, and traceability.

Ensure that all hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak tests are performed safely and in accordance with specifications.

Monitor NDT activities and review reports for compliance with acceptance criteria.

Interface with Engineering, Construction, and Client QA/QC teams to coordinate inspections and resolve quality issues.

Raise non-conformance reports (NCR), participate in root cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.

Support preparation and review of as-built dossiers, test packs, and turnover documents.

Guide and mentor junior inspectors and ensure consistency in inspection methods.

Enforce compliance with HSE and quality policies during inspection work.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical / Piping Engineering

or equivalent.

Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in piping inspection for offshore, shipyard, or oil & gas fabrication projects.

Sound knowledge of:

? Codes & Standards: ASME B31.3, B31.1, API 570, AWS D1.1, ASTM.

? Welding processes: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW.

? Material inspection and traceability requirements.

Familiar with FPSO, topside module, and offshore platform construction.

Proficient in reading isometrics, P&IDs, and fabrication drawings.

Experience in hydrotest, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning inspections.

Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Certified as

CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / ASNT Level II (PT, MT, UT, RT)

is an advantage.

Computer literacy in

Microsoft Office and inspection management systems

Pay: $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
