Purpose of the job: To assist the installation of power Rail and CF650 signalling system.

Responsibilities:

• He/she will report directly to the installation Manager and act as a deputy Installation Manager.
• He/she will represent installation in abscence of installation manager during internal/external meetings.
• He/she is in charge of making sure that the power rail and signalling system is installed in conformity with the Basic and Detail Designs, the installation procedures, the QA/QC system and the Time Schedule in place and cost.
• His/her duties include also the necessity to report on all technical aspects with his installation manager about Detail Design and NCR from supplier.
• During the installation, the installation he/she is required to organise the tasks, in a competent and consistent way, so that all key activities are properly done and controlled.
• Have to alert and report to management on any concerns he has related to the job he has to perform, and especially regarding: EHS, Quality, Access, Customer requirement, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
• Responsible for the onsite Quality Plan & EHS Plan implementation.
• Assure sites are properly stocked with test tools. And test tools are periodically calibrated as per Alstom\xe2\x80\x99s standards.
• Liaise with Engineering / supplier for any design changes and modifications necessary subject to installation results.
• Develop productive relationships with client\xe2\x80\x99s teams to ensure successful handover and post-implementation operation of projects.
• Plan and schedule site Installation activities in accordance to the project schedule.
• Prepare installation method statements and risk assessments for the power rail replacement activity.
• Complete the 4M checklist.

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

• Graduation qualification in an Electrical/Mechanical discipline.

Desirable:

• Holding Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline

Experience : 5+ Years in railways installation

Mandatory:

• Experience in power rail installation & testing.
• Knowledge of client Company Standards and an understanding of appropriate legislation
• Awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
• Experience of working with railway construction methods and materials used

Desirable:

• Positive approach and attitude
• Experience of Electrical/Mechanical Design packages
• Experience in signaling installation.
