Roles & Responsibilities
Role Description: This position requires Individual to deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The Individual shall be responsible for designing practical spaces and making sure that the outcome is visually pleasing. The individual also manages all sales enquiries as well as building relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Do up budgetary quotations and manage all incoming sales enquiries professionally and with excellent communication skills. The Trainee will also be able to keep track of Project Schedules and Timelines
2. The Trainee shall create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements The Trainee shall also be able to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing Design ideas to contribute to the Project planning and development.
3. The Trainee shall be able to build excellent relationships with clients, suppliers and vendors, and interact with clients professionally
4. The Trainee shall manage areas such as project quotation and renovation coordination and the Trainee must also ensure Inspect construction work on site to ensure its adherence to the design plans.
5. The Trainee will be able to conceptualise and present design including cost proposal to customer, and lead the project team to execute all projects and assignment to completion.
6. Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and plumbers, to ensure job success.
7. Trainee will work with the Director to ensure that Trainee is familiar with electrical works, blueprints and drawings as well as various technicality and software(s) required and working within specific timelines, to deliver quality service to clients during peak period.
8. Trainee will work with the Chief Designer to ensure the Trainee is able to identify and address potential problems and opportunities for the company.

5. Undertake all Projects and Assignment from concept to completion

8. To Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months
5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3600
