What the role is:As a Senior Internal Auditor/ Manager/ Senior Manager, Internal Audit in the Internal Audit Branch (IAB), you will play a key role in promoting effective internal controls and good corporate governance in operations and activities in schools, MOE Headquarters (HQ) and statutory boards.What you will be working on:

• Develop plans and programmes for compliance and operational audits in schools, HQ and statutory boards \xe2\x80\xa2 Review adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform audits to ascertain compliance with prevailing policies and procedures \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare audit reports highlighting areas of risk or deficiency and provide recommendations for improvement

What we are looking for:

• Relevant training in Accountancy (e.g. Membership with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants) and at least 2 years of relevant experience in conducting operational or financial audits \xe2\x80\xa2 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualifications would be preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent, self-motivated and pro-active individual \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools would be an advantage In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
