Role Responsibilities Job Purpose

• Deliver investment advice that meets client’s financial objectives and needs profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Priority Banking Relationship Manager to provide timely and relevant investment advisory services given client’s financial objectives and needs profile.
• Utilise in-house advisory platforms to deliver holistic investment advisory to clients.
• Strengthen the value proposition of the IA team through contributing investment ideas / themes and speaking at market outlook events.
• Participate and promote digital initiatives, facilitate webinars to drive better wealth management client journey and penetration.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across the Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Degree Holder in the fields of either Finance, Business, Economics or Banking with 5 years of experience in advisory role or similar capacity.
• Demonstrate Passion and affinity for the financial markets.
• Strong understanding of key products of Unit Trusts, Bonds, FX and Structured Products.
• Fluent in both written and verbal English, and an ability to articulate information, ideas and solutions to client succinctly.
• Linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness.
• Self-driven team player who takes initiative and detail oriented.
• Understanding and familiar of cross border rules and regulations.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Understanding of Financial Markets and Concepts.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills, able to present information convincingly and concisely.
• Knowledge across investment product classes.
• Portfolio Management and Penetration.
• Positive and Proactive mindset, keeping abreast of market developments and trends.
