Senior IT Architect, Appl Architect

Primary Purpose The DevSecOps Engineer is responsible to configure, manage and support DevOps infrastructure and help to setup DevSecOps pipelines on this infrastructure.
Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, possessing at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a Software Development environment.
• Experience in installation and upgrade of DevOps tools like Jenkins (CI/CD), Gitlab (Git source control), Nexus (artifact repository), Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) for project management, collaboration and code review, Sonarcube and HP Fortify for code quality. Maven, Gradle for building software.
• Experience in setting up DevSecOps process control for release management
• Experience in setting up DevSecOps pipelines depending on individual application requirements
• Experience in system administration in Linux and Windows is needed.
• Experience and competency with structured or scripting language(s) is needed.
• Familiarity with Ansible, VSphere and ServiceNow would be good.
• Generate statistical data for reporting
• Have a solid understanding of software development practices and lifecycle.
• Innovative, creative, flexible, and self-driven.
• Excellent skills in problem solving and communication.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• Technical understanding and demonstrable experience of VPC engineering specifically in the development of applications and solutions.
• 5+ years of systems operation / administration
• 3+ years of application development
• Deep understanding of network, storage and virtualization concepts and technologies.
• Strong experience with enterprise security concepts including network security lists, disk encryption and endpoint security technologies.
• Strong and hands-on experience/knowledge in the following or similar areas:
• Automation development experience
• Programming in Python, or Java
• Development tools, language features and library availability
• Automation deployment and configuration management tools
• (Chef, Salt, Ansible, and/or Puppet, etc.)
• Windows, Redhat,
• Git, SVN, or similar version control experience
• SQL schema design experience with MySQL, Oracle, or NoSql
• TCP/IP (ipv4 and ipv6) networking and related protocols
• Multi-platform workstation – Windows/Mac/Linux
• Agile and waterfall project methodologies
• Problem solving skills to learn new technical and non-technical analysis techniques to overcome problems.
• Ability to identify and implement both tactical and strategic solutions.
• Demonstrated knowledge (API) of VPC (Virtual Private Cloud),VMWare/Vsphere
• Ability to work independently and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures.
• Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
